You say this like the non-hentai manga scene is magically different.
I never said it’s not. Actually, all aspects of say, file sharing are like this.
Movies? Those guys getting R5s might very well get jailed FOR YEARS and people still bitch that the sound is off by a millisecond.
It’s just that hentai scanlation is my field of knowledge. I think manga online readers are pretty much the equivalent to hentai aggregation sites, and a lot of them are purely built to be money machines.
As said, writing about this because I’m most involved with it – the same basic concepts you can find here apply to non-H manga as well, though hentai is a very peculiar subject because people value it even less, but demand even more. All the while having low quality standards. Something to wreck your brain with.
But why, if you already knew the statements apply to the entire scene, would you make it focused on a subset of said scene? It just seems …bizarre.
As said, special rules apply to this subset. Also need to rant so bad lol.
